SNOW KISS

We are presenting for sale an original KARL FEIERTAG watercolor painting entitled SNOW KISS.

Karl Urlaubs studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Franz Rumpler, Kasimir Pochwalski and Josef Mathias Trenkwald. He worked in Vienna and Munich for various advertising companies and moved to Weidling with his wife. In 1914 he became a member of the Klosterneuburg Association of Local Artists.

Holiday’s work includes landscapes and cityscapes. His artist postcards with children’s motifs, animal motifs, puppets and teddy bears found mass sales. He also designed children’s coloring books.

In Klosterneuburg, Karl-Urlaubag-Gasse is named after him.

The painting measures 6″ x 10″.  It has been professionally matted and boarded to protect the art.  It is in excellent condition
