LET’S GO FOR A WITTLE RIDE PAINTING
We are presenting for sale an original PHIL MENDEZ watercolor on paper affixed to board painting entitled LET’S GO FOR A WITTLE RIDE done for Landmark Cards.
Phil Mendez has worked in animation for many years, among others for Hanna-Barbera, DC and Marvel. He is the creator of among others the 1980’s television series “Kissyfur” and “Foofur”. He has also drawn comics for Charlton, featuring Hanna-Barbera characters, as well a “Crunch Crunch” (in Ghost Manor). Between 1975 and 1981, he made the newspaper strip “Katz” in the Simi Valley newspaper The Enterprise.
Phil hand signed the painting at the bottom.
The painting measures 15″ x 20″ and is in excellent condition. It is unframed.
