We are presenting for sale an original KELLY FREAS drawing as design art for painting a cheesecake image on a WWII bomber.  Kelly served as an Air Force Reconnaissance Photographer in the Pacific attached to a bomber squad during World War II.  At the request of Pilot’s Kelly would design breath taking beautiful images that he would then paint on the front section of the airplane.  Legend has it that there was a rather irate Priest who found Kelly’s images too erotic and would follow Kelly around and paint over some and or all of the images.  Very few of these images survived.  This is one of only 4 known.

The drawing is entitled HOMEFRONT GIRL.

Kelly hand signed the drawing at the bottom.

The drawing measures 8″ x 10″ and is in good condition.   The drawing does show a fold mark and crinkling. The drawing has been professionally boarded and matted to protect the art..

No publication rights are sold with the art.  All copyrights remain with the Artist.
