We are presenting for sale an original KELLY FREAS pen and ink drawing entitled LA MAJA DESNUDA done for the book entitled CANVAS CONFIDENTIAL, a backwards glance at the World of Art. This image was not published. This image is based off the original painting done by Francisco Jose de Goya y Lucients. Kelly created the backside of the original painting. The book was created and written by Sy Reit and Frank Jacobs. All paintings were done by Kelly Freas. The book was published by Dial Press in 1963.
Kelly stamped the drawing with his art studio initials or “bug” as he used to call it.
The drawing measures 13″ x 8″ and is in VERY GOOD condition.
No publication rights are sold with the art. All copyrights remain with the Artist.
