We are presenting for sale an original PHIL MENDEZ colored pencil on paper mounted on board painting entitled BUSTER’S DOG.
Phil Mendez has worked in animation for many years, among others for Hanna-Barbera, DC and Marvel. He is the creator of among others the 1980’s television series “Kissyfur” and “Foofur”. He has also drawn comics for Charlton, featuring Hanna-Barbera characters, as well a “Crunch Crunch” (in Ghost Manor). Between 1975 and 1981, he made the newspaper strip “Katz” in the Simi Valley newspaper The Enterprise.
Phil hand signed the painting at the bottom.
The painting measures 28″ x 20″ and is in excellent condition. It is unframed.
